Hi-

I've been running OS X X86 10.4.1 for about 3 weeks now, and my friend made me a DVD of a bunch of .dmg files. Usually, when I go to mount them, I get an "Input/Output Error". But, sometimes, it will mount fine, and install fine (on the same .dmg file). Do you guys know what's wrong?

Do you have any issues with .dmg files run from the hard drive or other DVD's ?
If not then have your friend burn you another copy, sounds like just a bad disk.
