I have some spare parts and am ocnsidering picking up the following to start a new x86 system:

Intel® Celeron® D Processor 345J 3.06GHz with Heat sink and fan, Retail
Memory, 512 MB PC3200 DDR


Any problems setting it up on a new machine fresh native install?

If you scroll a little bit down you see a list with osx versions and in one of those lines you must click components.
So it depends on which osx version you have.
