Well thats nice.
I only have one question.
Is this going to be different from jas 10.4.7 update?
If so then what is the difference?
I am sorry if my question is stupid...

I think JaS is still using maxxuss's old decrypted binaries.... SemjaZa are you saying you have decrypted the 10.4.7 binaries? if so thats excellent

Big upz! I think we all (hackintosh folks) are still using kernel 8.4.1. Would be nice to get that fresh update.

My new update will have decrpyted binaries from 10.4.7 which are not included in any of the updates curerntly out. All 10.4.7 updates currently out use my older decrypted binaries from 10.4.6. More to come close.

I am sharing the LINK to the Update (uploaded by SemjaZa @ rapidshare) with eMule (NOT the file itself). Just run eMule and search for
SemjaZa 10.4.7 Decrypts - HackintoshI set it on "release" + "powershare on" and just connected to all of the bigger and secure servers, so those of you who are too lazy to register @ hackint0sh can get the URL easily and quickly via eMule and then download it yourselves. I am currently connected to donkeyserver No2, but that shouldn't matter too much.
/EDIT/ SemjaZa, your replace script worked fine with my 10.4.7 (Myzar 10.4/5 install + JAS updates) -
THANKS for your work
! I hope that the decrypted 4.6 finder is more stable now (otherwise I will downgrade it to 4.5 again which was 100% fine). Just writing this from within FF in 4.7 (even though I do not see my cursor in this fast reply text field - oh well

.. )

Thank you very much! I just installed this, and it works great on my AMD Turion laptop! It fixed the iTunes preference crash!
Still no QE/CI/OpenGL, but that's not your fault!

EDIT: OK, I lied. 10.4.7 broke my browsers' ability to watch videos. It crashes on many different websites, including Yahoo! Where exactly should I start looking to fix this?
EDIT AGAIN: I reinstalled Flash and it fixed it.

Hey guys.
BugsBunny asked me about linking to the patches. I just wanted to let everyone know that I specifically asked Apple's lawyers about this, and they said that we can't link to the patches or any site that contains them. That's not my preference, but Apple gotta make a living and I understand that.
I mention that because it's obvious that many of you are interested in the patches and want to know how to get them. The simplest way that I know of is for someone to upload them to a torrent site, like TPB or demonoid, and then let us know where they are and their filename. No linkage occurs, the law is happy, and everyone knows where to find what they need. :-)
It's a simple compromise that allows us to stay inside the law and move things forward at the same time.
Thanks.

So you really contacted Apple about this ..

no combo update yet. These are the files of OS 10.4.7 which Apple ENcrypted not to run on non-Apple hardware (expressed in simple terms ..

), just successfully DEcrypted by one of the heros of this scene, Semjaza.
Other than that, download and follow the instructions in his release.

I think so, my real Macs 10.4.7 kernel is 8.7.0 so you have the new one if verison number is right

Why the heck don't you lazy guys out there simply register @ hackint0sh ..

? I really don't get it ......
Also like I said I (and by now about 30 others) am/are sharing the DL link with eMule (you find a bit ontop what you need to be looking for) .. so, please lil bird, stop wanting to be fed right into your beak (and do your homework instead) ..

This is NOT the version of the kernel !!!! Semjaza's release does NOT contain a new kernel. The kernel develpoment is still stuck with kernels .5 and .6. We all (on hackintoshes) are still running kernel 10.4.4 (or below) as cracked by Maxxuss.
extract from Semjaza's readme.rtf:ONLY if you plan to run Apple's official 10.4.7 updater:
sudo cp /mach_kernel /backup_1046 # backs up the old kernel
[run Apple's updater etc.pp.]
sudo mv /backup_1046/mach_kernel /mach_kernel # puts your old backed up kernel back in place
You're not saying you are running a unpatched 10.4.7 kernel with your hackintosh, are you ..
