I really hope someone can help me because this is really getting me down.

I have been trying for weeks to get Vista installed onto my MacBoon Pro. I have followed all the guides to the letter including removing the EFI partition and burning the DVD from the VIsta ISO at 2x instead of 4x. But everytime I get to about 60% copying the windows files it gives me an error (80070017) saying that it can't continue copying.

Can anyone help me to get past this?

Forgot to add, I'm burning the install disk using Disk Utility. Dunno if that makes any difference? What are other people using?

try using beta 2. my install never worked until 5381, perhaps if you are using an earlier version it not work.

No, I'm using Beta 2, but it no longer matters. After downloading UltraISO, I'm now running Vista!
