I was playing around today and relized how many games I had back from my old PowerPC 6400/200 days, Master of Orion 2, Total Annihilation, Civilization, etc. So, any chance Classic could be ported?

Classic I think is all up to Apple.
Tiger itself did not ship with Classic mode on by default and it didn't ship with a copy of OS9. It is posable that Apple maybe finally killing off Classic mode.

No, it won't be ported.
There are some Mac OS emulators, but I don't think any of them even support OS 9.

Mac-On-Mac works on Rosetta and it's an emulator of MacOS PPC and Mac OS X up to 10.1

There's really no need for Apple to support Classic anymore. It's an old dead OS at this point and there's REALLY no point in continuing to make it as they want everyone to move forward.

Many older games (EDUCATIONAL apps are big) run on Classic, not to mention Nisus Writer.
On the other hand, those same Classic games that worked on Windows 3.1 are going to die anyway once 64-bit Windows comes around.
I have heard of a Basilisk Emu port, but haven't checked it out yet.

So does that mean I can install via my Classic discs that came with my Mini?

EDIT: In Mac-On-Mac that is.

But there's not already a network interface (alpha limitation)
Can someone try to install Classic wich is in the installation CDs, to see if it xorks on Rosetta ?

No, since OpenFirmware is not in PearPC yet.

I was wondering the same thing the other day since I was trying to get a Mac Emulator up and running on friends PC so he could do some Map making for Marathon. Sadly it doesn't.

There's a version of SheepShaver that should work on OSx86
http://www.gibix.net/dokuwiki/en:projects:sheepshaverIt runs MacOS 7.5.2 thru MacOS 9.0.4

Classic is dead on an Intel Mac. You can try SheepShaver and see if it works there, but you're limited in the Mac OS to 9.1 (I think).
