Here's an app that I wrote with AppleScript to let you watch fullscreen movies in Quicktime without having to get Quicktime Pro. Just launch the app after you start the movie and enjoy free, legal fullscreen Quicktime.
Damn, I already fed my QuickTime with the phoney serial number. ...yeah, I know, bloody pirates! Thanks anyway!

LoL You're probably wrote this from your PC runing a "stolen" OS, either a cracked windows or OsX
By the way, QuickTime comes freely qith all the "pro" binaries... It's not really stealing, just a little unlocking

not all of us have a lot of money to buy a registered software. i don't see anything bad of using pirates software. if i just wish to try it and don't will use later...
companies like mircosoft gets millions $$$. how, do you think Bill Gates become a reachest man on the earth ? by building honest buisines? i thought - by selling TEN times ovepriced software.
if prices was coincident and moderateness all of us will buy a software. but now when a lot of countries is still NOT Computerised, like mine - Russia, only in big sities people can buy a PC's, it's only over 30% of people in Russia have computers, not more.
if i buy a 500$ pc i can't pay 200$ for Windows. for what ? for everyday blue screens ?
or i must pay twice for apple design? not for parts ! just for desing. sorry, i'm and a lot more people no so rich yet.... that's my opinion...

I am not. I am using my G4 tower that I bought fair and square.
There are actually several freeware apps that take advantage of this and act as a completely unlocked QuickTime Player.

You guys have never lived its really exilerating - knowing your OS doesn't know where it is or what its doing. *insert bad joke about that already being the case in Windows here*

Thank you Colonels, I know it's a bit late, but I've just found your script. Anyway, I've always found not being able to watch fullscreen movies in quicktime really annoying. It's like Apple's asking for the pirating of Quicktime Pro. I hope they change it soon, because no other viewer application does that anymore, as far as I know.
