as written in the hardware signature I have a laptop with quadcore Q9000 processor with 2.0 Ghz, but SL recognize it at 1.69. I have attached a picture of cpu-z, about this mac and kexthelper.
I noticed that the multipler is stuck at 6, while in windows arrived at 7 or 7.5. how can I do? I'm not interested in the speedstep, I would be fine too that the processor is always with the highest frequency, because the battery life does not interest me.

Check my solution on http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=197863. Different issue but this should fix yours as well.
