I have been reading up on installing OSX 10.6 and all the guides appear to require I have 10.5.x installed first. Does anyone know of a way to install 10.6 on a computer that does not have OSX 10.5 already loaded?
Thanks!!

You can install SL from blank. but you still need to prepare a usb OS X boot disc with a mac first. But you can try the MSIWIND SL iso. i believe that's already patch to boot directly.

Rich, you are bloody brilliant. I need to know how you did this. Can you give me step-by-step on where you got the pre-configured version and how you downloaded and installed?
I am a Mac noobie whom recently acquired an Imac.
Thanks
