I currently only have two issues with Max OSX (10.5.6). First i have IDT codec and i cannot find device Id to bring back the sound, secondly, my dvd drive won't show up.

Now i have done so many installations just because installed something wrong. Can i pop back my installation cd and choose a driver from there, if yes , then which driver do i have to select?

Also for sound, when i look up Hardware ID in Windows 7, it shows something like /%VEN_8286 ( now this isn't real but it shows something similar)
