Hello,

I recently installed a trendnet USB NIC for a quick speedtest. When I removed the USB device I was unable to activate my own internal card, the one that came with the U100. So I proceeded to re-install the kexts using the kext helper and all was fine then I rebooted to the dreaded OSX panic screen. I have the original CD but am not sure how to remove the realtek driver that I installed?

Anyone have any ideas how I can remove this driver manually and reboot?

Thx
teknikk7
Just to add to this I am getting this error.

ERROR CODE: 0x00000002
com_psystar_RealtekR1000: Ethernet address 00:21:85:bd:5e:33

Anyone have any ideas to disable the driver or manually delete it?

thanks again....

when your computer boots don't press enter but first type "-x" once it boots go to your System Folder then Library Then Extensions this is where your drivers (kext) are located uninstall the Realtek or whatever driver that u installed that was giving u problems (drag to trash can remember to actually delete it ). reboot normally and cross your fingers
