Hey all..

Thought id go ahead and post up my little mod that my mate and I did a few weeks ago. Ill let the pix do the talking.

first was the wiring up of front panel and fans.

Next we somewhat dismantled the case and lined up the mac standoffs to suit a matx board.

Everything lined up ok

And then heres the finsihed case. The main aim was to retain the stock look externally as much as possible. Think we did ok

And the system specs for anyone that is interested.
Case & Powersupply - Apple G5 MacPro case & OCZ Modxtreme 600w psu
Motherboard - DFI Lanparty Jr P45 T2Rs
CPU - e8400
Ram - Mushkin redlines DDR2-1000 2 x 2gb
Graphics - Asus 4850 & Gigabyte 4850 x-fired

for the power cable.. I got a normal power cable and cut one end off and soldiered the connector u see on the back of the case on the end. that way i can have it looking like mine is. Nothing overly complicated to take pix of really.

Plus it would mean i have to take everything apart to get to the cable to take the pix for u tongue.gif
