Please help me~

I just installed Kalyway 10.5.2 Mac OS X 10.5.2 on my Dell Dimension 3000, and the installation was successful. The only problem is, there is no color. It is only like gray and white, I can barely make it out. I am using a LG Flatron LCD screen, not the newest monitor ever. I just have it going through the vga?? or the dvi?? I'm not sure which one is which. Anyways, I am fairly noob at this stuff, so how can I get color on my screen?

Thank you so much if you can help me!

I attached a picture of what I'm talking about

OH and as you all can see, the mouse is inverted to white.

actually my wife runs the same little system and I too had that problem until I took a look in the bios.. I made sure the agp aperture inside the memory information was set to 256mb and then go to the integrated devices section and change the last option which should be the onboard video buffer from 1mb to 8mb.. the video buffer is what is causing it to be that nasty grayscale hard to read resolution.. I am successfully running Tiger 10.4.11 on her pc.. she loves it!!
