With nothing else to do today, I've been trying to get it working on a ThinkPad T61 (no "p").

It installs just fine...no issues (aside from the keyboard and mouse not working so have USB ones available). YET: upon reboot: flashing cursor and and unable to get past it.

I'm about to give up...it's not worth this much time. I might just get a Dell Mini 10v.

What build of hackintosh did you use?

I've been running 10.6.1 vanilla retail in x86_32 bit mode to get wireless working.
I don't care about sleep support so don't know whether it is working or not.

FX570M still sucks. This crap gives no QE/CI.

I've been using Leopard on T61p (6459-cto) for about 2 years now. Patiently, I tried
all possible solutions to get the f&*king FX570m to work. No luck.

Next year, I just want to upgrade to newer laptop once Intel releases 32nm based
mobile processors... Hopefully, at that time, I will choose a laptop that has
compatible GPU.

Its no big deal if you already have osx running on any system.

Just pick any retail guide from Tutorial forum and follow the instructions.
just skip the DSDT part. Also, skip most of the kexts except platformuuid,
nullcpu..., appleacpinub, appleps2controller, fakesmc.

Basically, what I did was, installed (I purchased box set) 10.6 on a
16GB flash drive using "open OSInstall.mpkg" method. Installed
10.6.1 update over it. Installed Chemelon RC3. Finally, replaced RC3
boot file with PC EFI 10.3 boot. Modify /Extra/com.apple.Boot.plist
to specify "arch=x86" for kernelflags. Thats it.

The USB key should boot now. Once its confirmed, use SuperDuper
to transfer to t61p hard drive and install RC3 and PC EFI 10.3 over it.

Now, t61p should boot. Start tweaking your kexts now....
