Full Version: Is there a way to edit BCD from Leopard?

Hi. Chameleon looks a lot nicer than the windows boot manager, so I decided to be dumb and make it so that the boot manager automatically boots to chameleon with no timeout, but I forgot that choosing windows from chameleon actually loads the boot manager, not the operating system. So is there a way to fix my mistake since leopard has access to the vista partition? Thanks!!

i tried getting rid of my vista boot manager after installing chameleon, it didn't work! easybcd was moaning about changed partition setup and the attempt to repair always failed.
so i'm sorry pal, i found no way in altering the vista boot manager after having chameleon installed.
i ended up installing leopard to a different hard drive and now having vista and leopard on two hard drives. this makes the whole booting thing painless!

the only solution i could think of is follwing these steps:

look for
Step Three: Manually Repairing the Vista Bootloader

after that you should be able to remove the bootloader from vista and then reinstall chameleon again!
