Hello Everyone,

This is my very first post in the forums. After following blackosx's(???) guide to installing a retail version of Snow Leopard on a Gigabyte motherboard, I've got everything running and working 100%. Now I would like to edit my smbios.plist so that System Profiler reflects my hardware accurately. Is there somewhere I can look in BIOS, etc. that would tell me what variables/strings to plug into my smbios.plist so that it accurately shows things like system serial number, memory serial numbers, boot rom version, etc. Right now this is what system profiler says:

Model Name: iMac
Model Identifier: iMac8,1
Processor Speed: 2.83 GHz
Number Of Processors: 1
Total Number Of Cores: 4
L2 Cache: 12 MB
Memory: 4 GB
Bus Speed: 1.07 GHz
Boot ROM Version: IM81.00C1.B00
SMC Version (system): 1.30f3
Serial Number (system): INSERTYOURSHERE

Hardware UUID: 371D789A-BB21-345A-AF96-AB0A63127985

I would like to change the values in red to match my system but don't know where to find this information. I'm brand new to hackintoshes and any help would be appreciated. Thanks to all those who can help and thanks to blackosx for his detailed guide which even a newb like me understood.
