I'm running Snow Leopard on my Dell Mini 9. I'm trying to use GarageBand '09 to record a podcast. It seems to be working fine except for the buttons at the bottom of the screen that are not visible. I'm talking about the record, pause, play, stop, etc... buttons. I guess the Mini's resolution is not large enough for the whole screen to render.

I read about a program (that I then downloaded) that would rescale the resolution of applications to 80% of the screen size (or something like that). I tried it for this program, but it didn't seem to do anything. Everything in the program itself was smaller (so obviously the resolution had scaled), but the buttons at the bottom were still no where to be found. I'm stuck figuring out keyboard shortcuts to record, pause, stop, and rewind.

Does anyone have any suggestions on how to fix this problem?

Thanks!

you might want to be a little more clear of what you have tried already...
ill suggest that little green button at the top left of your screen! its cool...

but if you have tried that, the script that scales your display needs a logout to take effect...

I'm not in front of my computer at the moment, so I can't try this, but I heard that option+clicking the green button will work with some programs. Let me know if that works for Garage Band.
