Having had 10.5.6/7/8 running just fine on my Aspire one, I finally took the plunge to go to Snow. Everything has updated fine (despite chasing my tail with Microsoft Office not installing unless you overtype the full name in the login box with the short name). However, I have just tried to plug an external monitor in and have developed an instant hang/reboot problem. I have tried booting with the external monitor plugged in, and the boot cycle ends with grey screens on both both displays. Given that I have used the widely available SnowGMA kexts, could anybody enlighten me as to what the problem may be?
