I guess the description says is all. I have an original Mac Pro quad core (2 dual core Woodcrest processors) that I would like to upgrade to the Woodcrest E5430. Both processors are socket 771 so physically it should work. I know the E5320 Clovertown processors work but extra cache (12mb) and processor speed (2.66Ghz), at the same wattage (80W) of the E5320 Wodocrest is very attractive..
