Whenever I try to boot windows xp (for installation purposes from a legit disc) from bootcamp it gets to the start up screen and keeps playing the startup noise over and over again.
When I try to boot by holding alt at startup it isn't an option.
When I try to boot it from rEFit I come to a black screen with a blinking cursor in the top left and nothing else.
I'm using a external usb cd drive that should work. Is there any way though to get past the problems I've run across though?
