I've been roaming around the Web for quite some time and I've seen that more and more updates have been released.
First, there was Snow Leopard, who doesn't know about it ). Then Opera 10, that has really behaved as said in the Ad. Then iTunes 9 and uTorrent 9.2. But the newest and very expected release is Google Chrome.

How many of you use Google Chrome on a PC? Let's face it; most of the companies have started to implement in their browsers a lot of unnecessary stuff and these add-ons and buttons and glitz have started to slow down the performance and instead of having a speedy eye-candy you end up with an annoying app that instead of doing the thing it's supposed to do, it annoys you with a ton of commands that do nothing necessary and not to mention about those 1000 toolbars that get installed in no-time from who-the-hell-knows where. But Chrome is not like this (neither Safari). Chrome has a simple user interface, intuitive and light that doesn't sting your eyes with tons of colors and buttons; it does just what you need (toolbar x 100 accelerators free).

So I'll post here the latest Developer Preview of Chrome for Mac.
It's not a Cider port os the Windows version, it's the real Mac version.

Ah, and maybe you'll ask "when it'll be the release date?". I really don't know... The developers are working hard to reach the final version; but as it happens with the Yahoo! Messenger, they concentrate more now on giving the PC users a better experience and to fix their bugs instead of developing a new product for Mac! YOU MACISTS >:)!
Just kidding... I can't wait for the browser to be released.

Remember, this is a developer preview. It still has bugs, security problems that aren't visible at first. So do not use this browser for online payment or any kind of stuff that needs a lot of security and don't use it as the default (recommended). Just play a bit with it to feel a bit of Chrome ^^.

Which release are you talking about? The one for Windows?


So instead of being fair and saying that you cannot install toolbars and/or add-ons, you simply say that all hard work done by these good folks (add-on/theme/toolbar) developers) was done for nothing? Come one man. You are joking!


Developer preview it is, since there is no release. And about this: "Chrome has a simple user interface...". So why was it removed from Safari? Oh and I know, because I know the developer who introduced this UI style seven (7) years ago!

So you like Google Chrome. Which is fine by me, but Google Chrome offers very little, if anything, compared to Apple's Safari and Mozilla Firefox. Not to mention, again, that this is a developer preview only!

Hell yeah you're right. I didn't say no.

Answer 1: All the versions above are for Mac. Windows is out of discussion here.

Answer 2: I really appreciate those guys and what they've done, it's just that the buttons and colors and stuff implemented in some of the browsers that are above version 4-5 are quite annoying and some of them quite unuseful for the average user...

Answer 3: Yeah, it is a preview, but I've compared it with the Windows version too and it's about what it'll be in the end too.

So yeah, they are hard working for those toolbars, add-ons and stuff, but in my opinion they are a bit too much in some of the cases...
