Hi I have a Fresh install of kalyway 10.5.2 and i am tryong to update to 10.5.8. on the i deneb website it says that their combo update will work on all distros. and yeh it worked on my pc but it wont reboot. here is what i did.

1) install ideneb combo update
20 selectecd all the relevent patches
30 reboot but all it does is sit there and the apple logo spins but nothing else
i have tried booting with update, update -v, -x -v ect and it just sits there what am i doing wrong???

I ran the combo update as well with Kalyway and was only able to get to 10.5.3. Best thing for you to do is use a different distro, for the fact that Kalyway isn't updated like the rest(if it is I can't find it)..They did come out with a combo of there own, but it's only to 10.5.3.

I ditched Kalyway and went to iPC and know I'm trying to find an update to get me to 10.5.8..lol..

Anyway..Best thing is to go with a different distro(in my opinion)..Or if your hardware(mine want) will support SL, then go with SL. I got an EBios Read Error:0x04 when trying to go to SL..

I had Kalyway, its a pain to upgrade. I just switched to iAtkos v7, and I updated to 10.5.8. Everything works fine.
