Hi,
I bought the TRENDnet TEG-PCITXR NIC revision 3.1, following the setup on Lifehacker here: http://lifehacker.com/5351485/how-to-build...start-to-finish .

Everything installed nicely, but I just cannot get an internet connection. The green LED lights up when the ethernet is plugged in. Any advice would be appreciated.

PS: I tried putting the card in another PC and it worked fine after installing the drivers.

For all out there who had the same problem:

I went to Network under System Preferences and it will say a new card has been detected and it will work after that....geez...
