I'm a new ShakeSpeer user: everything was working fine the first couple of times, but now I always get the message "request timed out" at the bottom, when I want to connect to a hub. I read different solutions on the internet (including the one above) already, but nothing is working so far. Does anyone have another approach? Please, help! I really want ShakeSpeer running again!

I have the similar issue. I'm using latest stable version on Mac OS X 10.6.1 Snow Leopard but can't connect to _ANY_ hub. When I'm trying to connect, I fill IP, username and password but nothing happened. Another functions are works correctly: hashing, port checking, adding to favs.

My network firewall (Little Shatch) even does not show network activity of ShakesPeer.

OS: Mac OS X 10.6.1 (with latest updates).
