Does anyone know a build of linux that is Live CD and boots on an intel mac, I need to access the linux partition on my ipod to modify IPL, so it doesn't have to be so fancy

I believe the PC Ubuntu discs will work on Intel Macs, but I'm not totally sure.

EDIT: It installs, but when I mount it, it first says I need to repair it, so I do, I get the error of

"1 volume could not be repaired because of an error"

I try again and it says it repairs, but when I try to mount it, the system crshes (OMG a mac, crash?!)
