Never heard anything about that Shuttle.

However, I just built a Linux box in this one:

I used ClarkConnect Linux, which is based on CentOS/RHEL 4. The kernel was a little old (2.6.18), and all the hardware except the network card was supported out of the box. Marvell's site has the driver on it, and it was very easy to install (they give you a script that automates the whole process). I highly recommend the Shuttle K45 for cheap Linux machines.

I know about those but trying to stay small and quiet. the powers supplies in the those are loud.

Guess I could go with one of these and still use that computer.
