I don't like this flood control, but I think that they (had to) do this to prevent (more) database errors. I'm not defending the setup, because it would be great when this was possible. However, looking at the insane number of visitors at peak times... I don't think that this is going to happen. Still a pity of course wink.gif

Hey guys

I share your pain about the flood control, it was f***ing annoying but a necessary evil at the time - we've disabled it for all members but not for users with less than 5 posts (as you suggested Beerkex'd) so hopefully this will work OK.

P.S. server hardware is much better now, DB errors are down to a very minimum and only occur if we really push the admin area on mass commands, and we're about to upgrade to even sicker hardware (quad-core Nehalem processors and SSD drives) so DB issues will firmly be history. smile.gif
