Full Version: Paint a Macbook?

Hi now that the 13" 2.13Ghz Macbooks went down to $750 (and I can get another $100 discount with Educational Pricing), I can finally get one. But I really like the look of the Macbook Pros, but not willing to pay an extra $150 for a 2.0Ghz model.

I was wondering couldn't you spray paint the aluminum-ish color on to it, get some kit to make the screen look more like the Pros (or just stick a piece of translucent black film on it). The keyboard probably shouldn't be painted, could get one of those sleeves or something.
Has anyone done something like that before?

Are you for real?
Just leave it as it is man. But if you have to spray it, crack on. Anything can be painted as long as you prepare it properly and use the right paint.
