Don't want to use windex. Water doesn't really work. I don't want it to lose the shine and I'm not that crazy about any of the protective covers that are out there. Any ideas? My screen is getting messed up!

I had similar issues because fingerprints and grime on my screens is my pet peeve. Windex is a bad idea because it has chemicals that are way too harsh for the screens. Many say water and a soft cloth- these will work, but it wasn't enough for me. I ended up trying some of the cleaners out there.. iKlear i didn't like. It was pricey, and it left it a bit streaky.

I eventually found one made by then brand Monster... Here's the link--http://www.monstercable.com/screenclean/monster_screenclean.asp

Anyway this one worked good for me... I even use it on my tv and photo frames too
