I finished installing but upon booting, the keyboard and touchpad don't work, but they both worked during install. Booting with -v option said errors some were encountered. I'm using an Acer Aspire laptop with a journaled FAT (only option available).

My USB ports have failed a couple of months ago after a storm short-circuited the mother board, so pluggin in a mouse and keyboard is not an option.

Please reply before i revert to the boring Windows. Thanks!
