Hello all, and greetings from Finland! smile.gif

I just installed iAtkos 10.5.7, because I've tried every other OSx86 releases like iPC, iDeneb and so on with no success. iAtkos installed without problems, except after the installation when the PC boots, boot up took about 25 mins!! Ok, after that, when using this operating system normally, start up takes 5 minutes. That's too long. When I start my computer there comes that Apple logo and a spinning circle. After 30 seconds that spinning stops, my computers harddrive led stops blinking and time to start is over 4 mins.

Here is my computer specs:

Intel Core 2 Duo T7700 2.4Ghz
4GB of DDR2 SDRAM - 667.0 MHz (HP)
160GB HDD Serial ATA-150 5400RPM
14.1" WUXGA+ 1440x900 screen
Ati Mobility Radeon X2300 128MB
Intel Wireless WiFi Link 4965AG

And another not-so-important problem is my graphics card. Does anyone know a driver for x2300?

Thank you!

What options are you using for the install? So far, every attempt I've made on my 6910p has resulted in reboots in the middle of the install.

Hello , i tried ipc 10.5.6 on my 6910p , works great and i ran apple update to install 10.5.8 with success ! Everything works except wifi 4965agn, installed latest kext from iwidarwin but the driver is not stable. Until i get my hands on a new wificard i just plug in my usb d-link dwl122...works.

I have the same issue when booting.... 3-5 min is too long. I think it has something to do with the pcmcia-slot or the graphics.... i have the blue screen for about 3min then the loginwindow appears.

Any ideas ..someone ??

/R

Solved...solution : download and install iopcmciafamily.kext .... boots in 30sec. /R

HI
Did you manage to use the resolution of 1280x800 on your laptop?

Maybe its your guys's unsupported wireless card. Remove it and see if it boots up any faster. I doubt it will be supported anytime soon so its worth a shot. If your dead set on using OSX anyway then you might as well take it out and replace it.
