I copy DVD's that I legally own (because if you don't own it, it's definite copyright infringement) using MacTheRipper.

Then again, copying a DVD in the first place might be considered copyright infringement. It depends on the company you talk to and what their lawyer had for breakfast.

I use Mac the Ripper to rip and LiquidCD to burn, but what do I do to shrink the file to fit on a non-DL DVD? Freeware or shareware, please... Is there a way to do this with what I already have or is there a free app to do it? Please help the nOOb!

Or is it not worth the trouble and I should just fork out the cash and get Toast 7 Titanium (for Intel Mac, by the way)?

Nice of you to keep us informed. hysterical.gif
FYI, Toast is universal for more than 2 months. Although on May 18 was still PPC.

Diabolik posted above that LiquidCD is free. Come on, don't be lazy. Read some of the posts, darn it...

Maybe you should take your own advice and read the thread before you post...Lazy.

Thanks to MacJason for DVD2oneX2. While not free, I like $50 better than $99 for Toast. But is the trade off worth it? Is DVD2oneX2 as good? And does nobody know of a freeware/shareware/opensource program to do this with?
