Hi. I just installed counter strike through steam through CrossOver Pro. Everything was fine and the game ran perfectly but with one problem. When I start shooting, my ping

goes up and i get ping spikes. My fps stays 71 (max) and it's stable. And its also pretty slow when I'm switching weapons using the "Q" button. Im pretty sure that something is

wrong with my upload because I don't lag when spectating others. In offline mode, its perfectly fine with no lag. And Im pretty sure its not my connection speed because it

didn't lag like that on windows and also there is no one other than me using my internet connection. Do you guys have any clue of what's happening or of what's using my

upload bandwidth?

I have the same problem with Counter Strik Condition Zero: everything is smooth until I shoot. (even a 800x600)

Do you know of anything that uses your bandwidth in the background ? Or maybe theres a transfer speed limit ? I'm just wondering since I'm a new mac user!

Do you use Wlan? CS doesn't really work with wlan, so you need a programm like wireless zero shutdown.

No i use a wired Ethernet cable. It goes like this: modem> wireless router>my computer.
