so i have a few fun tiger issues i hope someone cal help me with,

1. on a SMB (windows server 2003) share, I can't seem to delete files, (PDF/AI files usally)
even though i have full read/write permissions.

2. when i eject a external HDD / Thumb drive it freezes the sytem. that requires a manual power cycle to recover.

this is on my tiger system that was just reinstalled about a week ago.
