Is it possible to update my third generation nano to run the OS that comes with the 4th generation nano? I really like the idea of having Genius, Cover Flow on my nano, but don't know if that's worth buying a new nano. Is there a way to install the fourth generation nano's OS on my third generation?

No. The encryption has not been unlocked for the 2G Nano and up.
