What kernel are you using? If Voodoo it has to be named mach_kernel. It is in the release notes for it.
别做梦了
(HaH I thought you've got kernel panic in Mac OS installed in virtual machine~~)
I use the original kernel,no problem occurred~

I've got the same issue. I've got a retail install of 10.5.6 and want to keep it unmodified as much as possible so that I can continue to update using Apple Software Update. Will renaming the kernel this way affect that?

Hi guys = I got the same issue : when using vmware ON hackintosh, I'm getting a kernel panic. Did anyone solved that problem ? I can't find the voodoo kernel to rename in match_kernel
Thanks
