Hi all,
I think my xbench scores are on the low side, considering I got a 9600GT.
Quartz extreme is supported and core image is hardware accelerated (only thing I did was add efi string for my graphics card). Both the cores of my e4500 are working.

I installed Leopard 10.5.6 through iPC's 10.5.6 final release, I use vanilla kernel, and default efi v9 bootloader. The only drivers I installed where ALC662, Intel ICHx and Realtek 1000. I haven't installed dsdt, could that be a problem? Oh, btw, I also installed 'latest graphics drivers from macbook',(which should be for 9600GT) but I don't think they're used as I use an efi string.

Oke! I thought my cpu score was about right, but my 9600GT scores just the same as a 8600GT? (which is like 2 times slower in games), but I guess that's just xbench being a crappy benchmark?

Xbench is not reliable, especially about the graphics cards.

Geekbench is a good bench, but don't test graphics.

I got similar hardware to you; E4500 and 9800GT, my CPU score is exact same as yours when running at stock (can get 184 when OC to 3GHz) and I was at first dissapointed with my 9800GT's score. I think it may be because we both have one of the cards that underclock themselves when running non 3D applications and the graphics card doesn't clock itself up when we run Xbench. If games are running good on windows, there is nothing to worry about.
