so i don't know too much about computers especially in a bios or typing in the command, but a friend installed mac os x on my dell and was working perfectly until i was looking for wifi/ethernet patches and was sent a file called, Dell Laptop Post Installer v1.4.1.pkg which i installed and my mac crashed unabling me to boot into mac. when i start up, the screen goes black with white text and says, "unable to find driver for this platform" and "mac os version not yet set" and then asks me to restart which then repeats message.
does anyone know how i can go about fixing this problem?
