Hi All,

This thread is a spin-off from thread "Leopard on a dell studio 15 and 17", http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=114235

I have a Dell Studio 1737 Laptop with an integrated ATI Mobility Radeon HD 3650 video card.
After some initial problems Leopard installs fine on my laptop, however getting the graphics card to work correctly on the 1737 seems to be a bit tricky and nobody has been able to find a solution for it.
Similar issues are also seen on the Studio 17xx little brother, the Studio 15xx, with the ATI Mobility Radeon HD3450.

It seems that for laptops from another brand a working solution has been found but this solution doesn't seem to work on Dell Studio laptops.

I am creating a dedicated thread for the ATI Mobility Radeon HD 3x50 on Dell Studio 15xx and 17xx because the original thread covers multiple issues with different components and I believe there is a need for a thread purely dedicated for this particular issue.

There for please only post issues relevant to the ATI Mobility Radeon HD 3x50 on Dell Studio 15xx and 17xx Laptops.

To anyone who reads and posts to this thread, your help, feedback and input is very much appreciated.

I also have a Dell 1737 with Ati HD 3650 and would love a solution to the graphics problem.

Even something like being able to change the resolution to make the scren look better would suit me, although having full hardware acceleration would be at the top of my wishlist.

Currently running iDeneb 10.5.6, updated to 10.5.8.
