When I login I use my user name "Rhapsody Man" and it works. But when I look at the top of the page it says my name is "Rhpasody Man". I don't know if it shows up correctly in forums but I'm guessing not because when I search for my name, I get no results.

I'm not sure i fI should start a new thread however, the issue I'm having is if I try to login in from the main page, www.insanelymac.com/forum

where is says ' Welcome Guest (Login | Register) '

When I enter my username and password it's says incorrect.
If I use the lost password tool, when I enter the password sent to my email, I don't actually login it, it brings me back to the forum and has the same

In order for me to actually login I have to hit reply on any random post, then I get the notice saying I don't have permission to post please login. From there I'm able to login fine. I'm using the Safari beta 4 browser (OSx86) if it matter.

But I was using Firefox in Sabayon 4r1 (live cd) when I first couldn't login.

I am glad that I saw your post as I too could not login in and went through the same procedure and results as yourself.

Same here Had this problem for sometime now

I was just about to post that I could not log in from my Hack, but could from 2 other Apple Macs in the house when I saw this post. Basically same problem solved in the same way. Reply works, but nothing else does.

I couldn't login from my hack OR from windows (both using firefox). Thanks for the 'reply' hint, it finally worked!
