Hello I was looking for a DVI splitter. What I have it a video card which has dual DVI output. I have 2 monitors and a projector. I want to have the monitors working as extended displays and the projector being a duplicate of one of them, if this makes sense? I bought a splitter off of ebay but when I connect it, my computer recognizes the splitter as two displays so I get the projector and 1 monitor. I am not sure if this is normal or what? I tried it in Windows and the same thing. Any suggestions? Maybe a bad splitter?

O yes and I am running a hackintosh....

I dont think that is possible. Maybe if you convert DVI to VGA and then use a VGA Splitter.

So what do you have after all? three displays altogether? four? in any case i think you'll want to choose one monitor and have the projector "mirrored" to that particular display. It should be an available option in display preferences when things are operating a little too smoothly!
