hi i was wondering why i cant like load irc it just leads me to the news section of insanelymac.com and i really wanna be able to like ask questions and such in irc.

It maybe caused by virus. it is often happen, so u can try to scan virus

Haha FAIL!
A online Java client can't get a virus... Basically there is something stupid happening with the forum redirect.
Try download a IRC client for you operating system:
-Colloquy for Mac OS X
-mIRC for Windows.
