hi i have an ipod touch first generation running firmware 2.2 (jailbroken) and i would like to run voip so can i run voip straight through the headphone jack with a headset??
i already have fring but ant test it because i odnt have a headset

also if there is osmething i have to do to allow me to get line in from the headphones jack

I'm sorry, but the iPod Touch 1G doesn't support audio-in through the headphone jack. You would need a headset that uses the dock port on the iPod in order to use VOIP.
