After reading this
editorial about Google Calendar (from someone who switched from iCal), I'll have to say that I was impressed. The GUI is nice and simple... now if they'd just release a desktop version to sync it all!
Has anyone else checked it out? calendar.google.com (it works with your gmail account!)

I was just curious as to whether anyone had tried Zimbra, I just recently noticed them when browsing the list of updated universal applications on MacUpdate.
The demo seemed to sport some rather astonishing features.

What I don't like is that it takes power away from the user with the "scans email for events." When I get an invite, I want a say in it, not have it thrown into the calendar. In addition, there isn't a desktop client, crucial to many users who need calendar access, and it *could* be critical to some users also.
Plus it isn't Safari compliant, forcing many Mac users to switch off to a different browser (with its own "features"). The opportunity cost of Google Calendar is just too great for me.
