So after about a weeks worth of work I finally got my Fujitsu t4215 up and running with iAtkos 5i. The display was a huge pain in the but to even get working, but I finally got it running with this fix. Everything is great, no artifacts, and I have full hardware acceleration (I can even edit with Final Cut!)

The only problem I have is that if I don't connect an external monitor, I boot into a blue screen. If I do connect a monitor, my primary monitor will show my desktop, and I can disconnect my secondary and carry around the laptop.

Can anyone point me in the right direction to make my internal monitor my primary monitor, and work at boot?

Apologies in advanced if this is a known forum topic, I really did do my research wink.gif

bump

Some general help on how to trouble shoot this, or even what I'm looking for would be apreciative. i.e. log files or error messages to be aware of.

LOL - Sorry. Screwed that up.

Was saying that I too have the same problem with my Dell e1505 and 945GM, but I do have 1200x800. I couldn't get the paperclip trick to work. I was wondering if it worked for you and/or are there any other solutions out there?

Thx.

So when I first installed, I had to have an external monitor in order to see anything, and my internal monitor was not working at all. It wasn't until after I installed the kexts from the aforementioned link that the paperclip trick worked. Did you install the kexts from here? http://www.insanelymac.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=141549

This method worked for me on Toshiba M400 Tablet. intel gm945 W/ gma950 graphics. also had to do the paperclip trick, but it works perfect.

Hi,

I am installing iAtkos 5i on my Toshiba M400 Tablet. I have some kernel panic when booting from dvd using -v -legacy.
Could you send me some tips or steps for M400. I succeed to install it on a Dell Inspirion laptop.

These two kexts should fix it. The kexts are from 10.5.6. so your os will have to be that to get QE/IC.
(AppleIntelIntegratedFramebuffer is from 10.5.3 I think. It works but with artifacts I'm working on getting the 10.5.6 kext working)
