i have been trying to get audio and finally did
for output there are headphones, internal speakers, and digital audio
they work but if i put in headphones it stays coming out speaker until i manually switch and vice versa
is there a way to fix this to make it switch inputs when headphones are inserted

Try a different kext or applehda patch.

You can use SoundSource from Rogue Amoeba to select between the headphone jack or rear port. It's not port sensing but it's simply point and click.
