I prefered using efi gfx string much than natit or any other injector.
Now i can tell:
DSDT patching . which is on the fly BIOS patching at boottime - PCEFI V9 or chameleon with dsdt needed.
DSDT pacthing isnt only interesting/needed for CPU=1 problems (i didnt had that).
Gigabyte EP35-DS3 (Bios F3) has now !
thanks to ROISOFT + all DSDT Teams )
- ATI 3850 512 MB using Megadolon FB (for my knowledge OSX >= 10.5.4 needed!)
- HDEF (AppleHDA usage, unpatched code, only 2 small changed in .plist)
- LAN/TM Fix
All 3 above now by DSDT patching.
1. No more Natit or efi gfx string
> You need informations about your card found in .plist of natit or efistring to do that - only the injection is done by the BIOS (or PCIEFI V9 dsdt) without natit / efistring!
2. No more Audio patch troubles (only change 2 .plists on Updates)
3. No more IONetwork patchings, Lan is now buildin, Timemachine needs that
Theoretical you can flash your BIOS with that changes to make them FIXED. (i dont know if Win may get problems). But i prefer that onthefly patching.
You can do lot of things with that.
Take a look at the DSDT threads , there are 2 major ones:
One using DSDT Patch with GUI (PCWiz Tools) running OS X
One using an new Win Tool running win
For own things to add / change (not the normal fixes) you need to edit the pre patched (by the DSDT GUI Tool)
again and recompile it.
