I'm on a Toshiba Satellite A100-225 and im running iATKOS 5i (leopard 10.5.5)

At the moment I'm stuck on 1024x768 and i'd like to up that to my laptops native resolution 1280x800

How can I get my laptop to recognise my graphics card and inevitably be able to change my resolution?

Any advice on this would be much appreciated smile.gif

Im a noob at this, but I can manage with a decent set of instructions

All I want to do is get my resolution up to my native 1200x800, i dont care about QE/CI or anythin

Can anybody explain to me what i must do to achieve this resolution on my toshiba's internal display

It is definately possible as people have said in other posts

QE and CI are supported, no resolution change possible. You can only use 4:3 resolutions provided by VESA mode by using a parameter at boot. Your native resolution is not 4:3, no way to get it.
