I have the same problem with the P5Q Pro MB.
I finally gave up and installed a separate LAN card having the Realtek 8139 chipset which works great.
I now have Leopard 10.5.4 working.
The only item remaining is to have proper drivers for my ATI Radeon HD4850 video card.
Currently, it's working only in the framebuffer mode. I've managed to change the default resolution to 1600x1200x32.
BTW, I really enjoy Leopard compared to Vista.

No kext for that NIC chipset as of yet.
Better off to install another NIC such as a Realtek 8139 which works great with default kext.
