I have kalyway 10.5.4 and vmware fusion. when I run vmware I get an error of "ASSERT bora/mks/main/mksQuartz.c:1282 ".
what can I do to resolve this issue?

I assume you are running Fusion on Kalyway and not Kalyway in Fusion. Then you need to enable QE/CI for your graphics card.
