Hi, I just installed input-remapper on a macbook pro 15" nvidia 8600mGT boot camp 2.1. The screen and keyboard backlighting keeps flickering non stop and the fans seems to be not working. The Configure option only has Presets and Remappings which does nothing. Under the Mac Book Settings, the Light Sensors kept jumping wildly.

How should I get input remapper to work? I am using vista 32bit SP1.

You can't. Unfortunately, Input Remapper hasn't been updated to recognize the newer hardware in the Penryn based Early 2008 Macbook Pros.

I've got a 17" model myself and have been using the standard Apple Bootcamp keyboard stuff and SharpKeys from RandyRants for remapping. Though I'd switch in a heartbeat if Input Remapper was updated and I could get the keyboard to work like on my first run Macbook Pro 15".
